9 days… that’s all that’s left in the month of June. Doesn’t sound like much to you? Then you need to change your thinking!
Beauty companies promise younger looking skin in 9 days. Amazon sells a book that teaches you all the skills for an MBA in just over 9 days. Apple sold 1 million copies of iPhoto in 9 days. You can climb Mount Everest in 9 days. Workers in China built a high rise in 9 days – and said it was 8 days behind schedule. Habitat for Humanity often builds houses in less than 9 days. And of course, God created Earth in just 7 days.
The truth is, a lot can happen in just 9 days – and the same can be said for you and your ACN business as well.
We’ve often heard people say “I’m not starting my diet on a Friday; I might as well wait till Monday.” That mentality is what keeps people overweight and on the couch – and it can keep you from reaching your goals in ACN too. Perhaps you didn’t start the month as strong as you would have liked. That’s not a reason to pass June off as a casualty in your business. Ask yourself, how many more months will you let go by before you reach your goals in ACN? How many more excuses, distractions or obstacles will you let shadow your dreams? Every single day in ACN counts, every single day is a fresh start, a chance for you to do something more or different in your business and your life.
Don’t get me wrong. The numbers don’t lie, and we know that IBOs who started the month strong and with momentum have a better chance of finishing strong. It’s just like a sprinter in a race. In sprinting, coming off the block strong is a crucial step in winning the race, but it’s not the only step. In fact, at the end of the race, we don’t remember who started out in front or what happened along the way for that matter, but we will certainly remember who crossed the finish line first. Don’t let your start determine your finish.
Regardless of what your goal is for this month, there is still plenty of time to make it happen. Did you plan to reach the next TCAB level this month? Perhaps you hoped to hit your 50 personal customer point milestone? Maybe you are working toward a promotional bonus? Was June the month you were expecting to reach that next earned position, or be able to walk away from your full-time job? There are 9 days left in the month – and as history has proven time and again – a lot can happen in 9 short days. By taking action and making the most of the remaining 9 days, not only will you finish the month strong, but you will also give yourself a jumpstart in July – ensuring you come off the starting block stronger than ever before.
Start your business over today; work like you’ve never worked before and remember, the best way to predict your future is to create it.
